Wavy trap beats and hard bars are key elements of his music, boosted by the power and perseverance honed in the piano dojo. Top this with a lyrical sensibility that is equally informed by the UK road wisdom of Skepta and Akala as it is by contemporary Korean influences Ateez and Changmo, and you have PianWooo’s brand of modern rap music. Foot firmly planted and eyes set beyond the stratosphere, PianWooo is ready to soar through horizons.
In the past several years Pianwooo has solidified his imprint in multiple scenes. In the UK, Pianwooo is a member of the WAV (WE ARE VISION) Collective.The collective’s aim is to provide underground creatives a platform, where Pianwooo specifically is able to grow his music business savvy. As part of the team, Pianwooo organises events and provides platforms, such as Ripples In The Wave, which allows him to vastly grow within the underground scenes for East and South East Asians in the UK.
He is also a member of the rap crew Shogun Triad alongside Ninjatea and Kaidd Kontrast. Over In Korea, he worked with the burgeoning Seoul Community Radio, linking up with artists and producers pushing the thriving scene forward. These diverse experiences and perspectives contributed to PianWooo’s unique personal take on his music.
